The IndyStar.com has a great lifestyle piece about the growing popularity of creating bead jewelry, even implying that scrapbooking is out the window!
The article talks to several beaders and while the majority of beaders at the moment seem to be “suburban, middle-age women with disposable income” even Joseph Breck, publisher of Lapidary Journal and Step by Step Beads magazines says,
But recently we’ve been seeing a lot more young people entering the craft…
And with more artisans and younger bead jewelry makers that can only mean one thing: more wonderful beads and supplies to choose from!
