Here’s one for you. There are those pooch owners out there looking for masculine necklaces for their male dogs! Rock n’ Roll or ?

Personally if I were a male I’d have no problems wearing Swarovski or Diamonds!

I was also a little worried about the “safety” issue for animals, but I think if you were to buy a “real” fabric dog collar from a pet store and then just attach a string of beads around it that you’d be okay.

The collar would still provide the strength and stability needed for dogs, and the beads would supply the fashion!

My little furry friend is so fuzzy that any collar we put on her is immediately lost under her fur. Hmm.. Maybe there’s a way to make a doggy bracelet! LOL!

This is so cool! It’s funny because I already have a drawing of my dog in jewelry on my business cards. I had thought about doing this but I was afraid to because of safety issues. I’m going to definitely give this a go. Thanks for the good information : )

Keep an eye out for two doggie fashion magazines out in September that feature haute dog couture and jewelry for the pet with discriminating taste.

There’s the “Diamond Dogs” feature article that’s in the September issue of Hollywood Dog & New York Dog Magazines. Glitzy Pet Jewelry was shot on location in New York by New York Dog Magazine’s talented photographer, Karen Ngo. Many other companies will also be mentioned in this article.

The other is “Canine Couture,” a feature article that captures differences in fashionable couture pets wear in the U.S. vs Europe. Glitzy Pet Jewelry has its new Glitzy PetCuff “Opulence” featured in the article. Ffion Llwyd-Jones, a Welsh writer living in Canada, is the woman behind this great piece of work. Even her dog is talented — fluent in two languages, Welsh and English!
