		<description>I, too, am sorry to see Rag Shop stores close.  I became familiar with them about 20 years ago when I began to cross stitch.  They had everything for the avid cross stitcher, plus so many great seasonal and decorating items.

I understand that they were bought out by another company unfamiliar with the crafts industry.

Sounds like the company that bought out my former employer.  I quit my job recently as I was getting physically and mentally ill from the stress and pressure.  I&#039;m learning that many more are also jumping ship there.

Why can&#039;t the big companies stay out of industries they don&#039;t know anything about?

Again, I am so sorry to see Rag Shop go.  Certainly Walmart&#039;s Craft Department cannot hold a candle to a store that specializes in crafts . . .</description>
