Free Online Bead Jewelry Magazine – Bead Inspired Canada!
There’s a cool bead jewelry magazine out there that has plenty of beading patterns, lots of beautiful full colored photos, detailed instructions, beading techniques, new design ideas and just about everything else you’d ever want from a bead magazine! It’s on the web, it’s from Canada and… the best part, it’s completely free!
I’m talking about Bead Inspired Canada! I stumbled across this cool online magazine completely by accident, but now I check back regularly! It’s a bi-monthly online magazine that was started when Canadian beader Murida Gardiner was looking for a Canadian bead magazine but couldn’t find one. She and Tina Delorme teamed up and put together a beading magazine “ezine” (electronic magazine) and the rest is history! Since its inception in 2004 Bead Inspired Canada has grown its volunteer staff and published nine amazing issues!
If you’re new to online magazines, you’re in for treat! Each issue of Bead Inspired Canada (BIC) is a .PDF file, which you can view on the screen or even print if you have Adobe Acrobat. And when you see the quality of this magazine, you’ll know it’s being put together by a qualified, knowledgeable, and VERY talented staff of beaders and publishers.
If you’re like me, you have stacks of beading magazines around the house and it’s always impossible to find the article I want quickly. But BIC has solved that problem! The BIC website has an index of all the beading projects they’ve featured, so you can quickly find what you’re interested in an go right to the issue of the magazine that has what you want!
The BIC website has just about everything you need in an online jewelry magazine, including an archive section, a way to contribute and request articles, interesting links and even a page for subscribing to the magazine so you can be contacted when a new issue is out!
I’ve also updated the ever-growing Bead Jewelry Magazine List!

Has Canada finally created a print mag for beaders?

These links aren’t working. I keep getting “Site Unavailable”. Does anyone know if this still exists or if it has moved to a different location?

Yes, I think you are right… it looks as though the Canadian bead magazine is gone… Sorry! This post is from two years ago… I’ll remove it from my Bead Jewelry Magazine list, too…
