Get Your Daily Beading Fix at Beading Daily

There are lots of great bead jewelry sites out there. Some have a bunch of free beading patterns, some feature bead tutorials and instructions, some sell lots of beading kits and books and some have a regular beading blog filled with tips and archived bead jewelry posts. Not many sites have all of that and much more, but the Beading Daily site manages to offer all that at more, all while offering a daily blog post that you can receive for free in your email!

This is a true beading blog offering all of the above things and much more! The main part of the site is the blog and then there are various other tabs you can browse that have an online beading project store, a gallery of bead jewelry items and even a calendar of events and shows. They even have a full library filled with great free bead jewelry patterns in PDF format.

Right now they also have a cool bead jewelry contest going on called “Bead Star” which is patterned after the judging system from American Idol. Right now bead jewelry entries can be submitted and then in June the readers of Beading Daily will be able to vote for their favorite entry! The grand prize is a trip to the Bead Expo in Santa Fe in March 2009!

The whole site is put together by Interweave Press, the publishers of several different beading magazines, including Beadwork, Step by Step Beads, Step by Step Wire Jewelry, and Stringing. Its a very professionally written and well put together site and it shows in the sheer magnitude of great information they share with beaders.

The Beading Daily blog is really what you can get lost in. They have a great topics including Contests, Beginner and Easy Projects, Wirework, Wedding Jewelry, Patterns and Charts, Rings, beader interviews and many more. The topics listed offer posts, projects and even professional articles.
