I checked out the elegant and unique jewelry over at KKPW Designs after designer Shannon Culmo left a short comment on one of my earlier posts about how to buy wholesale beads. I visited her KKPW Designs website and was instantly amazed at the many different unique and elegant jewelry pieces she makes and sells. Many of her pieces are put together using traditional beading skills, but she combines silver other metals and wire work and gemstones in a very original and modern way! All of her jewelry pieces are truly one of a kind pieces of wearable art!

Shannon and her husband Kevin started KKPW Designs in the Sacramento, California area several years ago, but their work resembles pieces you’d find in an upscale jewelry boutique or fashion magazine in a major international city. It’s not surprising that she’s received some great press over the last year and has earned multiple mentions in national jewelry magazines and very prominent fashion design websites. Her website features all her unique pieces, from necklaces to bracelets to earrings and even some very unique and fun rings! I love the “pop up” photo feature which makes the photos of her jewelry larger as you move your mouse over them. If you click to read more details of a jewelry item you can click the photo and get a very large and detailed photo, which is even better!

Shannon is also a pretty busy woman! She has her main website for selling her jewelry but she also has a KKPW Designs blog which she updates regularly as well as a KKPW Designs Myspace page.
