Some Great Bead Jewelry Blogs

Uncategorized - June 13, 2006 - By:

Today I thought I would show you a few other beading blogs I read on a pretty regular basis. These are all excellent blogs and well worth the read! There’s a lot of great bead jewelry hints and tips, as well as some wonderful “life lessons” about running your own bead jewelry business on these blogs:

bobeana’s bead blog – She’s a charming bead jewelry enthusiast who is starting to make jewelry as a hobby and exploring new ways to make money at the same time. She’s just starting out, but I already love her first “design of the week”!!

The Jewelry Weblog – This blog covers all types of jewelry, not just beaded jewelry. It is updated pretty frequently and though not everything is beaded, almost all the entries have something great and useful to inspire you. I like the idea of making ribbon or cloth banded watches and there are lots of neat pendants shown on the page right now.

Moss Designs – Stephanie is a true artist who works with copper, clay and a variety of materials that she uses to make jewelry and wearable artwork. I don’t have 1/10th of the talent or creativity that she does, but each time I see her newest creation I realize that some of the best bead jewelry is created with materials that are not always simply classified as “beads.”

Dolphinately Delightfully Designed Doodads – I really like seeing all the neat things Sara is experimenting with. She creates some wonderful classic bead jewelry but has also been playing with fiber materials and is starting a bead tapestry (I wish her the best of luck!)

The Jewelry Blog – By Cluny Grey, this blog features her stunningly professional and colorful bead jewelry. I can’t begin to match her designs and imagination. I’ve written about Cluny’s Jewelry Trend Blog before, but thought I would list her again because her blog is still going strong and still has quite a following.
