I love making and wearing beaded jewelry but I’m also a working mom who has a lot on her plate from one day to the next. I’ve recently noticed that more and more handmade beaded jewelry is serving as more than just a fashion accessory, but also as a functional piece of jewelry with a real purpose other than just looking good!

Now, sure you can put beads on almost anything like an eye-glass holder or watch band and turn it into a piece of beaded jewelry that serves a real function, but I’ve lately been fascinated with beaded jewelry pieces where the beads themselves are actually integral to making life easier.
