I like going to different beadstores and browsing through thousands of bins and strings of beads with my eyes and hands, but I have to admit that when I’m looking for something very specific it’s sometimes easier to shop online. While a lot of the larger online bead and jewelry supply sites are very useful, they sometimes overwhelm me.

I stumbled upon Beadroom.com the other day and it was a really fun online shopping experience! It’s a smaller bead store run by mother and daughter beaders, and their care for bead jewelry and simplicity in design really shows. They don’t have a very large inventory, but some of the beads they do have I don’t remember seeing anywhere else. And, because of the small size of their site, it really doesn’t take too long to see what they have in stock! They carry mostly unique glass beads, though they do have some crystal as well.

The best place to start for me seems to be in the “What’s New…” section, though I have found that the really amazingly unique beads tend to sell out quickly. I’m not sure how often they update. I’m hoping to grab some unique beads from them soon.
